Dragging One's Heals
This is obviously meant to be a pun, but why the image came to me I'm not really sure. This image to me is the most successful. It is a powerful image in it's narration as well as it's more formal qualities. I do wish for comments on this one if anyone has them.

I appreciate the complexity of the photo, and I love it. I like how the feet are in focus as if always concentrating on the person/protagonist. And the trail from the heels slowly fades away to suggest that what was considered the forefront of the person's worries will not be down the line, but will be replaced by new ones. Makes me think of a general life cycle.
I do like it, it makes me think of one who is not wanting to let go. Not wanting to face something maybe. I enjoy your use of light.

The balance and movement are great in the photo - if you were to re-do this, I would suggest a really high contrast B&W photo - could lend itself to some really interesting textures!
All in all, I love the photo
This image is quite lovely. I'm in love with your titles. I stumbled across your blog and I noticed it has been some time since your last entry. I'm just wondering if you are coming back to Blogger, because I really enjoyed your work thus far, and now i'm quite curious about the series.
